Due to the inclement weather, all evening events and activities scheduled for this evening at the Altoona Area School District -- including the school board meeting -- have been cancelled.
Several parents had been scheduled to speak to the board on the proposed closing of two elementary schools in the district.
Community relations office personnel said no rescheduled meeting date has been set.
