The National Weather Service in State College has issued a winter weather advisory for snow for Cambria and Somerset counties from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Thursday.
Two to 4 inches of snow is possible as a few bands of heavy snow showers and squalls accompany an upper level disturbance Wednesday morning followed by persistent upslope snow showers for the rest of the day and overnight, the weather service said.
Temperatures will be in the upper 20 and low 30s.
