The selling of Valley View shows a heartless disdain for our older citizens who need this facility to retire gracefully in an environment of proper care and place.
What a shame to see the dedicated, caring people thrown from jobs they have worked tirelessly and with care - just to be pawns in the hands of a couple of ruthless, greedy public servants, who put greed and money above all.
When analyzing this, one can only think of Judas Iscariot or Brutus. We will remember these officials if they seek re-election.
And what of the soccer fields? We owe it to the people who worked so hard to build and maintain them. We should use the Keith fields to give them a home and use the rest for a municipal park.
Logan Township says they can't accommodate a soccer field, but what are they doing with the farm fields on Route 36?
They are using a lame excuse to save this location for another use. The Keith facility would be perfectly suited. Let's do it before they sell more of it.
