William Earl George Jr., 82, died March 3, 2013, in Lakeland, Fla. He was born in Juniata. Surviving are his wife, Diana (Lope); a daughter, Denise Miller; four sons: Timothy, Patrick, Roger and Ronald; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean conflict and Vietnam War. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Gentry-Morrison Northside Chapel, 5245 US Highway 98 North, Lakeland, Fla.
