Grace L. Mitchell, 85, of Patton died Friday at home. She was born in Patton, daughter of the late William and Margaret (Sunseri) Leary. She married William T. Mitchell.
Surviving are four children: William E. Mitchell of Patton, Grace "Cookie" Elias and husband, John R., of Patton, Margaret O'Brien and husband, John, of Altoona and Jeffrey K. Mitchell and wife, Joyce, of Patton; five grandchildren: John Jay Elias and wife, Annette, of Patton, Soni Wood of Bellwood, Jeffrey J. Mitchell and wife, Amber, of Loretto, Jamie Shanfield and wife, Staff Sgt. Sydney, of Patton and Jesse W. Mitchell of Patton; eight great-grandchildren: AnnaGrace, John Todd, William T., Mitchell W., Margaret S. Elias, Drew J. Saylor and Cameron and Nevin Wood; an expected great-grandchild; and a brother, John Leary, of Warren, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a sister, Margaret Lischerelli.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of McCabe Funeral Home, Patton.
