Christine A. Teeter, 94, Lakemont, died Wednesday at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Petro and Julia (Evanick) O'Dellick. She married Jack W. Teeter, who preceded her in death Sept. 10, 1978.
Surviving are a brother, Albert O'Dellick of Altoona; a sister, Dorothy Roberto, with whom she resided; and wonderful nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers: Michael, John, Joseph, Frank and Pete; and two sisters: Anna Claar and Mary Kephart.
Christine attended Altoona High School. She worked as a machine operator at Altoona Shoe Factory, Saf-T-Bak and Puritan Sportswear. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church for many years and also belonged to the Catholic Knights of St. George and The Golden Girls.
Christine enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends. She loved cooking, crocheting, fishing and taking care of her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church by Father Anthony Petracca. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
