Path to the finals: Altoona - defeated State College, 59-55, in the semifinals; Hollidaysburg - defeated Mifflin County, 58-43, in the semifinals.

Starting lineups: Altoona - G McKenzie Hatch (11, 5-5 jr., 6.4), G Kaycie Reffner (15, 5-7 sr., 8.7), F Lauren Donley (22, 5-9 jr., 8.5), F Darby Lee (32, 6-0 jr., 18.3), C Kayla Grimme (35, 6-1 jr., 8.9). Hollidaysburg - G Alexia Servello (5, 5-4 sr., 3.7), G Michele Muir (23, 5-6 sr., 4.4), G Hannah Mercer (34, 5-7 sr., 7.2), F Courteney Storm (11, 5-9 jr., 9.3), C Morgan Griffith (40, 6-0 sr., 15.2).

Who they get: The winner plays the fifth-place team from District 7 (Fox Chapel, North Allegheny, Penn-Trafford or Chartiers Valley) on March 8 at a District 6 site.

Notable: Matchup of the top two seeds. This is the first time these teams have faced off in the 6-AAAA finals since 2006. ... Hollidaysburg won both regular season meetings, 57-56 and 56-44. Both coaches are 2-0 in district championship games; Altoona has won the last two 6-AAAA titles, while Hollidaysburg won Class AAA the last two years. Altoona is 21-4 in 6-AAAA finals and 23-6 in District 6 championship games overall. Hollidaysburg is seeking its first 6-AAAA crown since 1991. Reffner has signed with Division I Presbyterian. Griffith and Servello both are headed to Shippensburg. Servello played at Altoona the last two years. Hollidaysburg hasn't lost to a District 6 team this season. Altoona has won seven of its last eight games. ... Grimme was a third-team all-state last season who is unsigned, but is being recruited by several Division I colleges.
