The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art at Loretto, located on the St. Francis University campus, will be temporarily closed to the public for repairs. The museum hopes to re-open in the near future.
Administrative offices will remain open and can be reached by calling 472-3920.
The museum is currently hosting the student art exhibit "Artists of the 21st Century," featuring works by students from Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Indiana and Somerset counties, in the main gallery. That exhibit is scheduled through April 6.
The museum is also hosting the exhibition "Red, White and Blue in Black and White: The American Scene in Prints, Drawings, and Photographs," in the Margery Wolf-Kuhn Gallery.
That exhibit, scheduled to run through May 4, includes approximately 35 works culled from the museum's permanent collection.
