Miss Mielnik is the daughter of Raymond and Lois Mielnik of Hollidaysburg.
She is a 2006 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, with a degree in dental hygiene and health policy and administration.

He is a senior process technician at Strategic Polymers, State College.
A June 22 wedding is being planned at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidays-burg.
