Donald M. Gardner, 77, Ridgeview Elder Care Rehabilitation, Curwensville, formerly of Madera, died Friday. He was born in Madera, son of John and Celia (Schaffer) Gardner. Surviving are four sisters: Diana Hamm of Gearhartville, Jean Reams of Chester Hill, Lois Gardner of Port Matilda and Doris Hudak of Ramey. He was preceded in death by five siblings: Paul, Eugene, Jack, Betty Lou and Sarah "Peg" Prisk. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Kruise Funeral Homes Inc., Madera, the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.
