Scott R. "Hoop" Bolvin, 54, Wilmore, died Thursday. He was born in Johnstown, son of Jean (Adams) Bolvin and the late Clair Bolvin. Surviving are his mother; two sons: Scott A. of Wilmore and Brandon of Sidman; and six siblings: Rick of Mundys Corner, George in New York, Mick of Seesetown, Tiny of Portage, Barry of Wilmore and Connie Markus of Entriken. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage. Services and burial will be private.
