Radio: ESPN Radio 1430 WVAM

Probable starters: Penn State - G D.J. Newbill, 6-4 So. (16.2), G Jermaine Marshall, 6-4 Jr. (14.7), G Nick Colella, 6-3 Sr. (3.6), F Ross Travis, 6-6 So. (6.4), C Sasa Borovnjak, 6-9 Jr. (6.1). Notes: The Lions lost 12 straight games to start the Big Ten season in 2009-10. A loss today would make it 13 straight defeats to open this conference campaign, a dubious school record. ... Penn State has lost four straight (and six of the last seven) in the series. ... The Lions are 2-16 all-time at Crisler, with the last win coming in 1999. ... The Wolverines three starting guards all have 49 or more 3-pointers (and 159 between them). Marshall (40) is the only PSU player with more than 29 triples and the Lions as a team have 116. ... The Wolverines' greatest weakness is a lack of depth. The starters are combining for 83 percent of their scoring and only one reserve is averaging more than 2.7 points. ... U-M is 14-0 at home this season.

Mirror Prediction: Michigan 74, Penn State 52

Comment: Ranked as high as No. 1 this season, the Wolverines have lost three of four. So it is difficult to imagine them looking past anyone, even a struggling, emotionally spent outfit like PSU.

Mirror prediction record: 19-5
