The two teams played Jan. 31 in Iowa City, with the Hawkeyes coming away with a 78-67 victory. ... Marshall missed his first start of the season in Saturday's loss at Nebraska with knee soreness. He still played 34 minutes and scored 16 points. Chambers said he is not sure whether Marshall will start tonight. ... The home team has won the last 12 games in this series. Iowa is 1-6 on the road this year. ... Penn State is trying to avoid matching its worst start to a Big Ten season. The Lions have 11 straight losses and their record for defeats to begin a Big Ten campaign is 12 (set in 2009-10). ... PSU has made four of its last 30 3-pointers.

Comment: The Lions are struggling just to be competitive in the Big Ten these days. The Hawkeyes have played poorly on the road, but PSU has played poorly everywhere.

Comment: Iowa has thrived against Top 25 opponents this season but also is struggling to close out games as of late. This one will be close, but the Lady Lions will pull it out late and take another step toward a second straight Big Ten title.
