LOYSBURG - Northern Bedford used a 13-4 showing in the fourth quarter to pull away and beat Everett, 57-48, in high school boys basketball Saturday.

Tayler Pressel and Blake Over led a balanced attack with 14 points each, while teammate Kyler Diehl added 11 points.

Everett, down 24-23 at the break, got 15 points from Travon Ward and 14 more from Spencer McInroy.

Hollidaysburg falls

HOLLIDAYSBURG - The Hollidaysburg boys basketball team fell to 6-13 Saturday night, thanks to a 48-40 loss to Gateway.

Zach Ottaway and Nick Consiglio led the Golden Tigers with 11 points each. Delvon Randall led Gateway (16-5) with 13 points. Teammate Deon Cotrell Baker added 11 points.

No other information was reported on the game.

Ridge defeated

NEW PARIS - Despite leading by eight at halftime, Chestnut Ridge fell to Richland, 67-53.

Beau Bosch scored 18 points, and Tyler Wiley added 10 points for the Lions.
