Kathryn Kowalcyk, 91, Madera, died Thursday. She was born in Betz, Madera RD, daughter of Michael and Madeline Russin. She married the late Andrew Kowalcyk. Surviving are three sons: Fred, Eugene and Ed; three grandchildren; and four siblings: Judy Reifel, Ann Sabol, Christine Ferlitch and Peter Russin. She was preceded in death by six siblings: Susan Rocca, infant Anna and Mary, John, Michael and Theodore "Frank" Russin. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Madera, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Madera.
