Alicia Marie Smith and R. Wesley Bowman, both of Ashburn, Va., are engaged to be married.
Miss Smith is the daughter of Tom Smith of Altoona and Debbie Smith of Hollidaysburg.
She is a 2007 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of Seton Hill University, Greensburg.

He is a biology teacher at Freedom High School in Loudoun County.
An Aug. 3 wedding is being planned at the Oak Lodge, Stahlstown.
