Elizabeth Lutton and Timothy Knappenberger, both of Dahlgren, Va., are engaged to be married.
Miss Lutton is the daughter of Elva and David Lutton of Duncansville.
She is a 2001 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, University Park, with a bachelor's degree in history and a bachelor's degree in secondary education.

Mr. Knappenberger is the son of Terri and Will Knappenberger of Tamaqua.
He is a 2003 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, a 2008 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education, earth and space science, and is pursuing a master's degree in geoscience at Mississippi State University.
A May 4 wedding is being planned at Bowling Green Country Club, Front Royal, Va.
