Douglas and Mary Trexler of Gallitzin announced the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rae Trexler, to Joshua Alan Foreman of Gallitzin.
Miss Trexler is a 2004 graduate of Penn Cambria High School, Cresson, and a graduate of St. Francis University, Loretto, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and health sciences and a minor in Spanish in 2009 and a master's degree in occupational therapy in 2010.
She is a registered occupational therapist at Functional Pathways at Valley View Home, Altoona.

Mr. Foreman is the son of Linda Foreman of Ebensburg and the late Samuel Foreman.
He is a 2003 graduate of Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg. He attended Lehigh Career and Technical Institute and was certified in 2012 as a heavy equipment operator.
He is a pipelayer and equipment operator at Sippel Development Co., Johnstown.
A September wedding is being planned at St. Demetrius Chapel, Gallitzin.
