Madison Kendera, Garrett Anderson

Madison Evelyn Marie Kendera and Garrett Lee Anderson were united in marriage June 30 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Johnstown.

The bride is the daughter of Stephen and Dara Kendera of Vinco.

The bridegroom is the son of Herbert and Jacqueline Anderson of Commodore.

Pastor Scott Custead performed the double-ring ceremony.

David Gresh was the organist.

Readers were Samantha Kelly of Johnstown, cousin of the bride, and Allison Marsh of Munster.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Sarah McCracken of Meadville was the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Ashley Anderson of San Antonio, sister of the groom; Elyse Hood of Conneaut Lake; Danielle Reger of Youngwood; Stephanie Siko of Greensburg; and Marenda Zeronas of New Castle.

Kurt Rodemoyer of West Middlesex served as best man.

Groomsmen were Cody Kendera of Vinco, brother of the bride; M. Curran Blevins of Lancaster; Michael Danko of Jeannette; David Kelly of Derry; and Mark Metro of Sharpsville.

Grant Wargo of Milton, cousin of the bride, was guest book and program attendant.

Wedding day assistants were Jared Gore and Wyatt Gore, both of Holtwood, cousins of the groom.

The reception was held at the Masonic Temple, Johnstown.

The couple reside in Ebensburg.

Mrs. Anderson is a 2005 graduate of Central Cambria High School, Ebensburg, and a 2009 graduate of Thiel College, Greenville, with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. In 2011, she received a master's degree in chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

She is an assistant laboratory analyst at Concurrent Technologies Corp., Johnstown.

Mr. Anderson is a 2006 graduate of Purchase Line High School, Commodore, and a 2010 graduate of Thiel College with a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in business administration and medical biology. In 2012, he received a funeral directing and embalming degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science.

He is a funeral director intern at the Good Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.
