Margaret Ann Ott, 93, Altoona, died Wednesday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after an extended illness.
She was born in Dallas, Texas, daughter of Mary Walker. She married Robert Joseph Ott on Jan. 8, 1944, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters: Patricia (Ott) Kiser of Glasgow and Carolyn (Ott) Riggleman of Duncansville; three sons: Kenneth and Richard, both of Altoona, and Gerald of Angola, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Louise (Ott) Allmond; and a granddaughter, Tammy Allmond.
Margaret was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed bingo, polka and Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and for her kindness to everyone she met. She was truly one of God's treasures. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Monsignor Stanley B. Carson officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
