Lewis L. Belin Sr., 90, Valley View Home, passed away Tuesday at the home.
He was born in Smoke Run, son of the late Paul and Mary (Vancas) Belin. He married Anna Pellegrino, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are four grandchildren: Frederick Rickabaugh Jr. of Altoona, Theresa Rickabaugh of Altoona and Lisa Daffron and Michael Belin, both of Largo, Fla.; two great-grandchildren: Matthew Rickabaugh and Brandon Daffron; and a great-great-grandchild, Emalyn.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lewis "Buddy" Jr.; a daughter, Janet "Sissy" Rickabaugh; and a grandson, Lewis Belin III.
Lewis was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a coal miner employed by Eastern Coal Association.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are by E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona.
