Marvin R. King, 60, Dug Hill Road, Three Springs, died Saturday evening at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born in Wilkinsburg, son of the late Harold J. King and Ethel G. (Roher) King Clark. He married Bonnie T. Troutman on March 28, 1982.
Surviving are his wife; a stepdaughter, Tera Hamby of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; a sister, Janet Holleran of Delmont; two brothers: R. Stanley of Murrysville and Ron of Blue Bell; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Marvin had served as an evangelist since his graduation from Valley Forge Christian College in 1976 and had served the Lord through King's Ministries for the last 30 years. He was the owner/operator of King's Keys from 1986 until 2010 and was also a licensed life and health insurance agent.
Marvin was a member of Living Water Christian Outreach, Three Springs. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, where he had served as chaplain of the Mended Wings Chapter, State College.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, Pastor Dennis Hunsinger officiating. Interment will be made at Cherry Grove Cemetery, Three Springs RD.
