Herald J. Pauley, 77, Altoona, died Friday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care. He was born in Huntington, W.Va. Surviving are his wife, Dixie L. (Shoenfelt); a stepson, Richard Shoenfelt; two stepdaughters: Cindy Knott and Vicki Ingham; and seven step-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 until the 3 p.m. funeral service today, Jan. 27, 2013, at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, 328 Fifth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
