Frederick L. Crawford Jr., 46, Newburg, formerly of Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Altoona, son of Frederick L. Sr. and Beryl A. (Wilkinson) Crawford.
Surviving are his parents; his wife, Melissa; a daughter, Karissa A. of St. Thomas, Pa.; two sons: Tyler F. and Tristan A., both at home; and a sister, Pamela D. Tiller and her son, Nicholaus, both of Altoona.
Fred was a 1984 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was employed as a CNA by Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chambersburg. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
At the request of his children, there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home in Shippensburg.
