Elizabeth A. Stager, 81, Grazierville, died Wednesday at her residence.
She was born in South Fork, daughter of Wilbur G. and Helen M. (Harvey) Dixon. She married Paul Stager on July 15, 1950, in Portage, and he died Sept. 26, 1971.
Surviving are a son, Robert and wife, Joyce, of Tyrone; a daughter, Caroline Harpster and husband, Michael, of Williamsport, Md.; five grandchildren: Ryan and Elisha Harpster, Kristin Harpster Stewart, Melanie Stager Adams and Missy Stager; five great-grandchildren: Natalie and Gage Harpster, Katelyn and Griffin Adams and Alex Wilson; her fiance, George Kimberly of Altoona; and a sister, Lila Skutch of Portage.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: William, Donald and Robert Dixon.
Elizabeth and her late husband, Paul, purchased Tyrone Auto Salvage in 1960. Upon his death, she and her son, Robert, continued to operate the business. She was of the Catholic faith, and she enjoyed spending time with her fiance and family at her cabin on Pine Creek in Slate Run.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, and 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, Father Jozef Kovacik officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
