Orville S. Ickes, 82, Imler, died Sunday. He was born in Pavia, son of Layman and Florence Ickes. He married the late Irene Elizabeth (Corle). Surviving are three children: Carol Imler and Michael and Janette Ickes; two grandchildren; and three sisters: Stella Jones and Elsie and Violet Ickes. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Loretta Allison and infant Virgie Ickes; and nine half siblings: Joe, John, Harry and Shannon Ickes, Chester and Charles Benton, Lucretia Corle, Della Ickes and Ethel Benton. Friends will be received from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
