Paul A. Mathes, 91, Everett, died Sunday at Pennknoll Village, Everett. He was born in Altoona, son of Harry and Martha (Goldy) Mathes. Surviving are two sons: David H. of Six Mile Run and Paul C. of Richardson, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Akers Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Bernard White officiating.
