Kulick paces Claysburg

LOYSBURG - Claysburg-Kimmel used a 19-14 showing in the third quarter to pull away and beat Northern Bedford, 54-47, to improve to 10-3 overall in high school girls basketball Friday.

Abby Kulick had 26 points, four assists and two steals for the winners.

Northern (10-4) got 21 points from Leah Hershberger and 11 from Cierra Cottle.

Chelsea Korwin led Blairsville with 21 points.
