Verna M. Hileman, 78, Hollidaysburg, died Monday morning at her residence.
She was born in Logan Township, daughter of the late Ralph and Sally (Swope) Booher. She married Wilson S. Hileman on March 25, 1950, in Altoona, and he died April 3, 1984, after having shared 34 years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Wilson V. and wife, Marlene, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Mike and wife, Jen, and their son, Nevin; and a close friend, Joe Snyder.
Verna loved animals, especially horses and her dog, Ginger.
At Verna's request, there will be no public viewing or funeral service.
Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
Memorials may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602, in Verna's memory.
