Delores L. Perry, 76, Tyrone, died Monday at Tyrone Hospital.
She was born in Tyrone, daughter of Charles E. and Thelma M. (Gill) Kooken. She married Robert F. Perry on Feb. 22, 1969.
Surviving are her husband; two children: Meg L. Nail (Edward Jr.) and Chad R., both of Tyrone; a grandson, Perry E. Gillespie of Tyrone; a sister, Phyllis L. Hoover (Richard) of Tyrone; and several nieces and nephews.
Delores was a 1954 graduate of Tyrone High School and worked at Gardner's Peanut Blanching Co. and in the office of Home Electric and Penelec. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she had served as an usher. She was also active in a Bible study group and the farm extension in Warriors Mark.
Delores was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, quilting and her grandson, Perry.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
