Northern girls earn road victory

EVERETT - Leah Hershberger scored a game-high 22 points and teammate Cierra Cottle followed with 14 as Northern Bedford earned a 45-40 Inter-County Conference South Division and Sideling Hill League victory over Everett in high school girls basketball Wednesday.

Everett's Kadie Morral had 20 rebounds and 11 points, and Aubrea Phipps scored a team-high 15 points.
