Betty Jane Kirkwood, 87, formerly of Duncansville, died Wednesday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Gallagher) Mowry. Surviving are two sons: Larry of Phoenix, Ariz., and Donald J. Jr. of Altoona; a stepdaughter, Dawn Zastro; a granddaughter; and a stepgrandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Kirkwood Sr. There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville.
