Kenneth Joseph Behe, 68, Cresson, died Sunday at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown.
He was born in Lilly, son of the late Kenneth M. and Kathleen (McIntosh) Behe. He married Gail Ann Claar on Nov. 5, 1983.
Surviving are his wife; 10 siblings: Tom of Lilly, Judy Lynch (Jim) of Gallitzin, Rogers "Pouch" of Lilly, Joan of Lilly, Bonnie Shable (Jim) of Lilly, Debbie Trently of Hazelton, Connie Reed (Mike) of Carrolltown, Donald "Zeke" of Lilly, Jennie Behe (Chris) of Hollidaysburg and Mark (Betty) of Lilly; a granddaughter, Alyssa Montgomery of Cresson; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved black lab, Colby.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent; and a grandson, Tyler Montgomery.
Mr. Behe was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from Cresson Steel Co. in 2006. He served on Cresson Borough Sewer Authority for more than 10 years. He received the first Volunteer of the Year Award presented by the Cresson Chamber of Commerce.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Cresson Alliance Church, officiated by Pastor Gary Shingler.
Interment will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob.
