James H. Krause Sr., 92, Ramey, died Friday. He was born in Osceola Mills, son of the late William F. and Florence E. (Hartman) Krause. He married Betty M. Herman on April 14, 1954. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Sharon Peachman; three sons: Robert L., William E. and John D.; 14 grandchildren; three sisters: Helen Dinant, Jean Hammer and Kathryn Ross; and two brothers: Harry and Rodger. He was preceded in death by a son, James H. Krause Jr.; a daughter, Sandra Opinski; a sister, Betty Himes; and three brothers: William, John and Wesley. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran. A private committal service will be held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Beulah Cemetery, Ramey.
