The Rev. Donald T. Rainey, 77, Ebensburg, died Friday. He was the son of the late Joseph and Ethel Marie (Conner) Rainey. Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann; two sons: David and Matthew; two granddaughters; and five siblings: Lois Smith, Eileen Lohr, Howard, Bernon and Dick. He was preceded in death by three siblings: Alvassa Hopkins, Charles and James. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at Ebensburg United Methodist Church, the Rev. Dr. Frank Brosius officiating.
