Brian Jeffrey Mattas, 38, South Park, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. Surviving are his wife, Wendy (Colwell); two daughters: Emilie and Kaitlyn; his parents, Jeffrey and Louise Mattas of Altoona; a sister, Lahne Mattas-Curry; and his grandmother, Marjorie Parks. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Freyvogel-Slater Funeral Directors, 112 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at St. John Capistran Church.
