Dre Blakeslee Grager, 11 days, went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Md.
He was born at the Walter Reed Center, son of Jimmy J. and Julie K. (Tate) Grager.
Surviving are his parents of Andrews Air Force Base, Md.; a brother, Ty A. at home; a grandmother, Terre Detweiller and husband, Chris, of Williamsburg; a grandfather, William Tate and wife, Debbie, of rural Martinsburg; grandparents, Barry and Diane England of Williamsburg; great-grandparents, Bruce and Doris Gwin of Canoe Creek; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Robert B. and Vala Tate, Foster and Frances England and Dick and Jeanne Hoy; and an uncle, Andrew England.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date with Pastor Paul R. Campbell officiating. Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
