Rose L. Fahr, 89, Tyrone, died Thursday at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
She was born in Julian, daughter of Chandler and Ruth (Riggleman) Walk. She married Cecil C. Fahr on June 4, 1994, in Philipsburg, and he died in 1999.
Surviving are four sons: Cecil C. Walk of Tyrone, Larry Richards and wife, Sarah, of Tyrone, Steven Richards and wife, Lilly, of Julian and Wayne Richards of Port Matilda; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Walk of Tyrone.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.
Rose retired in 1986 as owner of Rosie's Bake Shop, Bald Eagle, after 10 years of service. She then worked for Juniata Fabricators, Bald Eagle, and formerly was employed at the Villa Restaurant, Tyrone, as a waitress for 11 years.
Rose was a member of Bald Eagle United Methodist Church and the Women's Society of the church. She enjoyed crafts and quilting.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, the Rev. James Walk officiating. Interment will follow at Julian Cemetery.
