Frank D. Pollock, 84, Portage, died Wednesday. He was born in Homer City, son of John and Helen (Zilinskie) Pollock. Surviving are his wife, Jean (Cowher); three daughters: Deborah Mackovyak, Connie Seip and Sharon Shoff; four grandchildren; and two siblings: Betty Costantino and Richard. He was preceded in death by five siblings: Joseph, Edward, Mary Jackanic, Anne Ogden and Bernice Hvezda. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at St. Joseph's Church.
