Eleanor Rounsley Broberg, 101, State College, formerly of Houtzdale, died Friday. She was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Margaret (Hutchison) Rounsley. She married Carl W. Broberg in 1938, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1979. Surviving are a son, Charles B. Broberg; one granddaughter; one grandson; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister; two brothers; and a great-granddaughter. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the noon funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.
