Ronald S. "Preacher" Krumenacker, 88, Portage, died Wednesday. He was born in Portage, son of Joseph and Elsie Krumenacker. Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine; six children: Sharon Kipe, Debra Herman, Joseph, Keith, Robin Jackson and Bryan; 21 grandchildren; and a sister, Delores Roberts. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles; and a granddaughter. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Martindale Alliance Church.
