John R. Hauser, 92, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Buffalo Grove.
He was born and raised in Altoona before moving to Chicago in 1940.
Surviving are many cousins in the Altoona area.
John had been employed at several printing companies in the Chicago area, including Chicago Litho and Olive Can Co.
He was an avid gardener, hunter and fisherman.
