Letty M. (Smith) Morgan, 82, Golden LivingCenter-Hillview, formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away Friday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Colver, daughter of the late George and Jessie (Atkinson) Smith.
Letty was preceded in death by her loving husband, David R. Morgan Jr., who died Nov. 29, 2004.
Surviving are her children: Karen, wife of Donald Focht, Altoona, Sandra, wife of William Toth, Northern Cambria, Deborah, wife of Randy Rummel, Northern Cambria, and David R. Morgan III, married to Dorothy Detwiler, Hollidaysburg; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren with another expected in the spring; and siblings: Betsy Kane in New Mexico, Ray Smith in North Carolina, David Smith in Mississippi and Alice Smith in North Carolina.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers: George and Ben Smith.
Letty worked for many years at Quaker Market and the office of Shop 'n Save in Barnesboro.
She enjoyed camping and planting flowers around her home, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until the 8 p.m. service on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Committal will be in North Barnesboro Cemetery.
