Betty Regina Resig, 87, of Presbyterian Village, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Altoona, died Sunday at the Village after a brief illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Samuel Esty and Hattie Mae (Acker) Rock. She married Ralph A. Resig on April 3, 1948, at St. Leo's Church Rectory, Altoona.
Surviving are her husband; children: Robert Resig (Deborah) of Hanover, Karen Gonsman (Patrick) of Hollidaysburg and Diane Feathers (Randy) of Altoona; a sister, Annabelle Gehret of Duncansville; four grandchildren: Matthew Gonsman, Michael Macedonia, Jonathan Gonsman and Bradley Feathers; and two great-grandchildren: Lilian Macedonia and Everleigh Gonsman.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Robert and Walter Rock, Florice Riedenbaugh, Gladys Baker and Jo Ann Rock.
She was previously employed at Sylvania in Altoona, where she helped assemble Naval artillery fuses.
Betty was an Altoona High School graduate and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church, Altoona. She was also a volunteer at Altoona Hospital for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
A private visitation will be held at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., Altoona, and a private funeral service will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, Altoona, both at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
