Swogger leads Tyrone to win

MARTINSBURG - Jordyn Swogger led all scorers with 20 points as the Tyrone Area High School girls basketball team defeated Central, 55-41, Friday.

Nicole Gripp added 19 points for Tyrone, while Brayley Lewis had 16 points and seven rebounds for Central.

Kaitlyn Krug led the winners with 18 points, while Bri Mulhern, Deonna Capelli and Emily Roberts added 13, 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Bedford, which trailed by two at the break, got 23 from Hannah Grimes and 10 more from Lauren Fedorchak.

Penn Cambria improved to 3-3.
