Lois Jean Servello, 72, Altoona, formerly of Duncansville, died Wednesday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Reading) Servello.
Surviving are five children: Deb Garlard (fiance Rick) of Duncansville, Mike Murtiff (Melissa) of Duncansville, Joe Murtiff (Candy) of Hollidaysburg, Melva Jean Brown (fiance Darryle) of Altoona and Gennine Murtiff in Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four siblings: Danny Servello in Florida, Peggy Cruthers in South Carolina, June Benton of Altoona and Bobby Servello in Washington. She was formerly married to Melvin Murtiff, who also survives.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Jr.; a son, Rick; and three grandchildren: Kelly, Storm Jr. and Nicholas.
Lois enjoyed spending time with her family.
There will be no public viewing, and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
