Deborah A. Lykens, 63, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday at her home with her husband at her side after a brief illness with cancer.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Jacqueline G. (Schroeder) Packard and the late Harold W. Packard.
Surviving are her husband, Victor; a son, Gary (Jennifer) Parks; three grandchildren: Jan, Austin and Olivia; her mother; four siblings: Harold (Sue) Packard, Pam (Art) Glass, Sydney Packard and Lee (Esther) Packard, all of Altoona; three stepchildren: David Lykens, Vicki (Ed) Werkheiser and Jamie Lykens; five stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

Deb will be remembered by her uncle and many aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, neighbors and friends and her spiritual family.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Joe Parks; two brothers: Max Kenneth and Wilbur James; and a stepson, Robert Lykens.
Deborah was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and she was a volunteer at the Reapers Food Bank at First Baptist Church, Altoona.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark.
