Lady Bulldogs’ Appleman earns 500th win

CLAYSBURG - Claysburg-Kimmel's Jeff Appleman picked up his 500th victory as a head coach, as the Lady Bulldogs knocked off West Branch, 42-28, in high school girls basketball on Monday.

Appleman, in his first year at Claysburg, has coached for 26 years with stops in Williamsburg and Hollidaysburg.

Abby Kulick had 11 points, eight rebounds and six steals for the winners, who led 23-7 at the break. Teammate Madison Ickes added 11 points and seven steals.
