Audrey E. Baker

Audrey E. Baker, 88, East Freedom, died Saturday morning at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.

She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late Clair "Pat" and Mary E. (Yeckley) Baker.

Surviving are three sisters: Doris L. Bristow of Duncansville, Ruth C. Baker and husband, Bob, of Lady Lake, Fla., and Betty G. Campbell of West Loop; two brothers: Warren C. of Tyrone, and Glenn R. and wife, Cathy, of Hagerstown, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She retired from F & F Cleaners, Tyrone, and Duncansville, and prior to that, she worked at Wilt's Economy Market, Duncansville.

Audrey was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Duncansville, where she sang in the choir and formerly assisted in the primary department of their Sunday school and was a member of Christie Gleichert Missionary Group, where she served as treasurer.

She enjoyed music, playing the guitar, photography and flowers.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Duncansville, by the Rev. Jaime G. Olson. Internment at Carson Valley Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg in Audrey's memory.
