Charles F. Laskowsky Sr., 82, Houtzdale, died Thursday. He was born in Morann, son of James and Mildred Laskowsky. Surviving are his wife, Maxine of Philipsburg; six children: Randy, Terry, Robin Bush, Ricky, Gary and Charles Jr.; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Madeline Saupp. He was preceded in death by seven siblings. He served in the U.S. Navy. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Barbara's National Catholic Church, Houtzdale.
